The meme is real! Due to my terrible phone camera skills I haven’t caught Dahlia perfectly yet. I think it’s recognisable as being that black cat with head popping out of a white circle, that meme. Sorry if it is not, I tried. ;-) Cats will often enjoy not staying still when you need them...
White space challenges are hard for me, so I tend to use a template to get me started. This time I used one of the white space templates by Rachel Jefferies who has recently joined Oscraps as a designer. I was so excited I couldn't wait to play with her goodies... Can you blame me?
To create the horizontal line, I used the rectangular mask 3 times to continue the background image. The circular lace mask was given an embossed filter and a lace shadow for definition. The background paper was duplicated and a multiply style added to make it darker.

Everything is blendind in the background paper.
I'm always inspired by Ansel Adam's work! There's no way I can replicate his magnificent work ("shades of black & white and all of the shades of gray), but here's my attempt. I also used Palvinka's Hello Fall Kit.
