We were working in the yard on a gorgeous autumn day. It was just too gorgeous to work. The little red Corvette came out of the garage and we cruised along the winding roads of the park, enjoying the sunshine and fall foliage.

The October Color Play Collection has just been released! What a beautiful array of designs again this month! I used Reflection by Natali to create my layout. The photograph is mine and was taken on our property.

Created for October Art Journal Challenge Week 3. The background is light colored paper paired with a flowered patterned paper to which I added a layer mask and then used a black to transparent gradient on the mask.

I wanted to embrace the storybook aspect of the challenge, but since the kit I was using didn't have a book element and I didn't feel like looking for one from another kit, I decided to make my own. There was a stacked style paper in the kit, so I took that, duplicated it, and then played around...
