  4. Painted-Bunting

May 4th is Bird Day! I saw a Painted Bunting on the way to my daughter's house to work one day. It was one of the most beautiful birds that I had ever seen! Created with Lynne Anzelc Design's "La Mer" and After Midnight Design's "Age of Chivalry Decorations" Photos taken at Saugus Iron Works in 2012 where my grandfather (13 generations back) was taken after the Battle of Dunbar. 7. Alice

I made an artsy(ish) page! It started off as a layout for the sketch challenge, with the book as the main feature. Then my mind went "but what if the photos fly out of the book?" But I didn't want to lose rabbit hole Alice to an open book, so I thought "well, what if the photos fly all over the...

  11. A Midwinter Nights dream

    A Midwinter Nights dream

I started this lay out 10 May 2018 with a vague idea (I wanted Matt with antlers on a shark, great idea of Lori Davis) but I dreaded working with the pen. Now I have followed several courses in Illustrator and Photoshop I not afraid of that thing anymore ;) So I cutted the antlers and the rider...

I love wolves and so I'd taken a photo at one of the wolf reserves I've visited, this one in Omaha, Nebraska at Wolf Canyon. He's the alpha male. I used 52 Inspirations 2020 No 05 Winter Forest Mini Kit by Aftermidnight Design. It's perfect for the winter scene.

    My History

Done for the September Heritage Challenge #6 Journaling reads: The year was 1963. We had just moved from Indiana to California. It was a culture shock. But one constant was school and making new friends. This was a boy that was in my class who lived near us. I believe his name was Raymond...

    Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

Such a beautiful lighthouse we visited today. Even the base is beautiful! It reminds me of a music box and the tower is the angel spinning so the lamp in the top can spin as it shines it’s light for the world to see! 6/8/21
  16. My Garden

    My Garden

I used After Midnight Design English Garden. I blended 4 different papers to get the look that I wanted, which was a soft, but still floral look. The picture is one I took of my Hydrangeas, which I thought looked like an English garden.
  17. Easter

I lowered the opacity of a large version of the photo so that it would blend into the background.
