Oh, my! I absolutely LOVE the framing on this photo in this wonderful LO by @beszteri . The use of a B&W photo is inspired and the masking is perfect!

This is a fabulously artistic, quirky, cool LO! The palette is wonderful. The Pops of red from the glasses and tiny ones elsewhere make it sing. Gave you at Standing O.

    Wheel of Time Fans?

I started this series long ago and was so sad when Robert Jordan passed away. Happily, Brian Sanderson stepped up to the plate to finish it with Jordan's notes, yes? So, have any of you been watching the new Amazon series based on the books? The first one started off slow, but it has since...

@LSlycord Unless it has changed, you can join any of Robin's classes at any time. @tanteva We have peppermint mocha coffee creamer but you can make mocha peppermint coffee yourself. Cream or half-and-half, 1/2-1 teaspoon cocoa powder, a couple drops peppermint flavoring or a small pump pf...

I'm so sorry that I offended you, Eva! That was not my intention at all and I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. We had a really bad experience with it and my son was little at the time. For you, they were salvation, but with so many misdiagnosed and schools insisting on it in the US, it's not...

@mom2triplets04 have you ever tried Bible journaling? There's some beautiful kits available for it. Have a look at Robin Sampson's site http://biblejournalingdigitally.com/ Robin offers freebies on a regular basis and classes, too. Some free, some paid. There are tons of other Bible...

I think my word for 2022 will be TRANSCEND. It is time for us to shake off the last 15 years - especially the last 2 - and fly!

    Anyone do Vision Boards

It's Murray State University. If you look north and just a little east of Memphis you will see the bitty burg of Murray, KY. It's a really small town when the students are gone (we have about 10,000 kids at MSU). Moving east might keep us in Kentucky or put us in North Carolina, West...

Oh, thank you! I had forgotten I had the kit. Shame on me. I've used it before to make a little cookbook.

    What do you scrap on?

It's a thumb ball, sorry. Mine looks like this: But you can get a little one that looks like this (I had one of these once upon a time when I had a laptop - the built in touch pads on laptops drive me crazy, I can't use them!): or this. They all come both wired and wireless now. I asked...

    Question for you ...

Amen to that - and now house warranty. I thought Congress made the robo-calls illegal!

I've been doing this, too. I come from very long-lived stock - one great grand aunt lived to 104 and another to 102 in the very early 20th century when medicine was awful! - so I don't expect to go soon, but I'll be 68 in October so you never know, do you? My boys have a nice stock of things...

    Question for you ...

Medicare on the phone all day every day from the day you turn 65 until you die. They never get the hint even when you yell at them to take your name off the list because it's the 100th time you've told them and they never do it. A police or coaches whistle is a wonderful weapon. When you get...

Where in Iowa, @LSlycord ? My 2X great grandparents (mother's paternal great grandparents) came to the US from Lincolnshire, England in 1882. The spent a couple of years in Illinois, then a couple in Nebraska before making the last leg of their journey to Manson in Calhoun County, Iowa. I...

    Show us your Crafting space!

If this cabinet disappears you know where to come looking for it! I am pea green with envy. One day.... And I really must try that method. It would be so wonderful for some of my family heritage stuff if I did it right. Nothing that the wax could harm but some neat stuff. Your talent is...

The only non-traditional technique used here was using a gradient mask to blend the photo over the background. The rest is simply layering the elements until they looked right.
