I was persistent when it came to the wild turkey on the other side of the field. He knew something was up and didn't like it even though I was pretty far away. I was so happy when I got some great photos of him, and I'm happy I got an AI driven program to use with my selfies. Life is good at 74.
Mine's the 26th which makes me a Thanksgiving turkey sometimes. We have that in common. ;) Happy 82 coming up fast now! Love the fall flowers. We don't see those here so I've never thought about using them. Now, maybe.
We loved the kivas at Inn of the Governors but the downtown parking wasn't our favorite thing, and the restaurants were tempting with things we should skip anyway. It was a lot harder to make reservations, and being out of the downtown turned out great. You loved the quiet, I loved the view.
As we went to Daylight Savings Time, we were already experiencing an early fall snow deficit and highs each day were in the 70s. We were two weeks away from the latest first measurable snow in Denver, and with a warm, dry pattern we were looking at a run at that record.
We had no need to go downtown, to the Plaza or even to Pasquales, and we ate OMAD at Valentina's every morning. We headed north or east on the main arteries away from the city each day and our location was perfect for the exploring we wanted to do. We started on plans to come again in 2022.
