    Daily Ooos: Tuesday, February 8

Cheryl, @Cherylndesigns you sure are rubbing it in. We've had sun off and on today, on right now, and soon I have to follow the path DH shoveled in the snow out to fill the bird feeder. Those goldfinches have been eating up their seed. Wish you and Chris would quit overdoing! By contrast to...

I think you did a great job of capturing the amazement of the moment. The different kinds of views and the mountains give some of the feeling. Must have a been a beautiful day and experience. Perfect cluster with the word art.

    Daily Ooos: Monday, February 7

Chris @faerywings I thought of you all the time I worked on my AnnaLift, so this is for you! We had sun this morning and DH had no trouble backing the car out between our snow walls to go to H&S. We did groceries and a brief trip through Lake View where we were delighted that a Merlin flew in...

    AnnaLift Challenge February 4 - 18, 2022

Wonderful page to lift and love all the ones done from it. Like some others, I had to work with a bird.

    AnnaLift - Spring Will Come

Out in the snow today left me really thinking of and needing spring!

    1795 Destination Wedding ?

I wrote about this for a family history newsletter in 2020 but just now realized it would make a good scrapbook page.

    Do You Scrap Your Genealogy?

If your grandfathers lived in the U.S., I'd be happy to look into them a bit.

The idea to make a line drawing was inspired by all the ones in your kits.

    FEBRUARY 2022 STANDING O'S

Oh, Vera, thank you so much! This was very much experimental for me and I'm so happy you picked it.

    Photoless pages

The majority of my LOs feature photos and those that don't usually focus on word art and/or elements. For family history I have ideas for working without photos. One is to use old pictures, like postcards, of places in the family. This is one example: I also use documents for images, and this...

    Accept Those Knees

Accepting the realities of aging bones is my topic of the month. While the journaling isn't hidden, it is intentionally not that easy to read.

Such strong images and words make this exciting and beautiful. Either side would be great but combine together so well.

    Starting a new layout

Photos are usually where I start, but I pick a paper as the base and work from there. Many times that paper isn't in the final LO. As I don't do CT work I don't focus on kits and mostly pick from several or many as my design develops.

    Rooting for the forgotten goodies...

I don't do CT work so am free to use whatever I like, well, except I only post here at the O, so like Eva keep (reluctantly) weeding out designers who depart. I like using new designs, but I keep things in chronological order and will go back to where older ones are that I like. Sometimes I...

    Daily Ooos: Friday, February 4

I think most of you aren't watching the Winter Olympics, so have to share a special image from the athletes' parade: the jackets of the athletes from Mexico. Black and white with a big sugar skull image. So cool. You can see it here...

    Daily Ooo's: Thursday, February 3

There were dire predictions for our weather, but it seems like it won't be quite so bad. Yesterday was the rain turning to snow last night. It continues to snow. Don't know how much we'll get or how much ice is under it. Since it's windy, the snow is drifting. We have no need to go out before...

Oh, Chris, you are really clicking on this one. We loved the photo but what you've done with it here is so delightful. No one could see it and not get a big grin. All the little elements are just right. And then the word art you created!!

    ABC of Gratitude

Y - yellow, don't you just love that color: sun, goldfinches (at least in the summer), smiley faces . . .
