The four of us are meeting every week for an hour on Zoom and it really helps keep us going and provides some focus.

In the Windows Start menu scroll all the way to Windows Accessories. In that folder is the program Character Map. I have it pinned to Start so it's easy to find. It contains all the characters for every installed font. I'm working in Windows 10, but it is the same in Win 11 and older versions...

In Windows Photos program (at least with Windows 10 Pro) you can capture stills from video. I have done it but don't remember the details of how.

♥ I don't have a number pad on my Surface but have copied and pasted from the character map in Arial. Hope it works.

Just have to comment on shrinkflation. It's nothing new. Years ago yogurts went from 8 oz. to 6 oz. and OJ from 64 oz. to 52 oz. (but I think there was an intermediate size.) Candy bars were doing it even longer ago. Mostly everything is the same as usual here.

Just popping in while on lunch break in day 2 of the week-long class in NJ genealogy research. I knew there would be a lot to learn & that is sure true. It's a little overwhelming. Yesterday I didn't have time at lunch as I searched in a database and found great records from one of my families...
