I normally take several photos so my chance of a good one improve, but I only took a single photo of these birds, and luckily it told a good story. I couldn't see the purple on their wings at the time, but back at my computer I started to realize I had seen two rare purple mallards.

Love your framing and stitching for the sun. I thought about how you'll soon be headed back to the land of the tractor. Oh, and btw, have you seen the new Lego Tractor that comes towing a Russian Tank? Not sure when they'll be in stores, but so so cute. ;)

Two years after masks were first required, we no longer had to wear them. But in some situations they made sense, so we still kept them handy. And I was surprised to discover how much I enjoyed making digital collages when I had the right kind of materials in my runtimes.

Reports of war crimes in Ukraine churned up my own C-PTSD and things that I used to pass along seemed stupid. Knowing the fighting over there might save our democracy, I spent time each day staying up to date. Five daffodils and a muscari had bloomed in our bunny garden.
