We saw smoke at the top of Raton Pass entering New Mexico. Farther south the smoke was dense. By the 21st of May, extreme weather had taken over the US. We had snow, the east coast had a stifling heat wave, and the Hermits Peak fire had become the largest in the state's history.
Wonderful photo tell him! Well worth the effort and how well I know because my photographer husband is the worst and not so open to a little practice. He's totally fine with whatever comes out. LOL ;)
Congrats on the Standing O. Everyone I know planted gardens here and now it's dropping below zero and snowing and ruining things. But still, we love that there will be a tomorrow that is beautiful anyway, so yes. Love these spring colors.
On Tuesday we looked for the cactus blooms we had seen around noon on Monday when we arrived at Cave Creek. We learned that they don't open until it gets quite warm later in the day, and they just wouldn't be out in the early morning when we got out to enjoy the golden hour's lighting.
On Wednesday it was hot but comfortable thanks to a nice breeze. We waited until 9am so the sun would light up the birds better at the feeders. Remember how those beautiful purple cactus flowers popped out and were mixed with dead sticks just across from Jasper's.
Congrats on Standing O! She is so darling and has the most winning smile, and the lighting in the photo is fantastic. Great take on the 52 Inspirations challenge.
All these wonderful photos and it's that adorable smile and pink shoe laces that I can't take my eyes off of. Love your title work and placement. and your blending. ;)
