Love the red and yellow accents and the photo of the two of you. I loved road rallies back in the day and brought home some good swag, but now I'm using all those skills to 4WD in the outback. Same skills, more rocks, but I'd say we have both sports in common. :D

A stop at this old skeleton of a house on the Fourth of July was a highlight of the day as it brought back memories of another Fourth, at a higher elevation, where the American flag flew on a ghost house. There, mountain goats were as curious about us as we were about them. I imagined this house...

Instead of heading straight up I-25 on Friday, we decided to pack up, wait for sunrise, and tour Alamosa NWR one last time. We'd brave the heavier traffic if we had to. We might see a bittern or a golden eagle . We saw the eagle, heard the bittern. and a bonus flock of ibis flew over.

I'm liking the bright blue with the yellow.
