I tried lots of things and didn't know of a way to get Oscraps to let me just be DK. So I got creative and put the 'is' in front of it to get the minimum required 4 characters. :D
The fractal came from my study of shell shapes and I liked how the light seemed to come from inside the form. It sat on my desk and I couldn't just put it away, so finally I added it to my book so I could clean my desk.
Love the texture and those tiny hearts, the heart frame is perfect for your very special loved one. And I like how you unified the page with a reddish photo tint.
It's a fun take on the old masters. Got me to thinking about the limited colors they used, which I've always thought were a bit stuffy. :D Love the ivy!
Your page is an impressive use of what's available in the public domain. Brought together with a family tie, film frames, stitches and just the right colors and fonts. ;)
Love that you used the holiday collab for this. Love those old guys in the overalls, and the white siding. The perfect framing and paper for the B&W. ;)
Thank you so much, veer! You've already made my day. Yes, that's me, taken by Mr Stone. So many times I couldn't stand up when we drove at high altitude. New cardiologist has fixed things much better for me. ;)
Love your photo, quote, and title wordArt. A beautiful page. Like Laura, I'm quite aware of this subject and for me it means do all you can to pass on good DNA, and especially if it wasn't handed down to you. ;)
Thanks to all who make these challenges fun. I used 73 elements from the kit and I, at least, can still see the wildflowers in the lower left foreground. :D
