Here's my entry for the July 2014 Webspiration Challenge. Chris's inspiration picture had such beautiful colours but I couldn't make them work with any of my beach photos (of which I have thousands as we spend every holiday at the beach). Then I stumbled across this picture taken last summer...
What an amazingly thought provoking and silencing page. I feel your emotion in page, which is a wonderfully heartfelt tribute to those 40 yrs. Big hugs to you from me too.
AWESOME PAGE!!!!!!
Although it's a sad subject, I really hope you got some enjoyment out of creating such a fabulously amazing page. That whole "chucking stuff at your canvas" is very cathartic. Wonderful stuff.
Ooooh, you've used one of my absolute favs from Anna's collection, and perfectly evocative to represent your sad story. All of our baby birds have gone now, including the greedy great spotted woodpecker that was lazily hanging out on our feeders waiting for mum to feed it!
Oh Liz, this page is such a powerful family story to record, share and pass on. Very sad, very touching but a story full of love. Thank you for sharing with us on this date in particular. A really lovely tribute to Rodger.
Here's my entry for the July 2014 Prompt Challenge - Outside.

BWahahahah!!! I love (and sometimes hate!) finding the photos my kids take on my phone. Brilliant page - I can so relate having one exactly the same age and another that pulls faces like this!! Wonderful take on the challenge.
