Kasha was an avid acrylic flow artist, an explorer with a giving spirit. One day an envelope stuffed with odd things came, and I suspected it was her way of saying goodbye. I wasn't ready, and put it out of my mind. Mary called to say she was gone, and had been in more pain than I knew.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend and I hope you have some solace from her things that she sent to you! I think you are right about it being her way of saying goodbye - my Mum was slowly trying to deconstruct her flat by giving away her things, I didn't want to face up to the fact she wasn't going to be here forever but she knew, she knew at some level that she was losing her memory.
