Shafer Trail

Aa Stitched Template Album, Stitchez, Tape, Splatters, Masks, Paper

Because there were no other vehicles on Shafer Trail, we stopped a lot more often and in places we hadn't spent any time before. Although we had been on that road many times, our trip was special because we could take our time. Later we learned Mr. Shafer was a cattle rancher in 1917.

The Shafer Trail drops precipitously through a series of steep switchbacks for 2,000 feet from the high plateaus of Canyonlands National Park out to the White Rim Trail outside Moab, Utah.
Amazing photo! I like the simplicity of the page design, the addition of the small, stamp-edged photos, always nice to see the red jeep!

I have got to get back there! All hail the red jeep! Love the pix along the bottom...great sense of motion.

Roll on with your adventures and continue to illustrate them in such an artsy way. They always delight me.

Stunning photos! Agree with Laura, have to get back there! Love the line of photos along the bottom and of course the red Jeep!
