For the background, I blended the black skull patterned paper over the floral one (Subtract, 80% Opacity). I added some color by selecting the roses from the kit and layered them on top of the outlined flowers on the paper. I changed the Hue to an orange one. On the skull's head, I added a new layer and painted the flowers using the Brush tool with Color Dynamics/Jitter to further match the roses.
