Whatever Adryane creates always fascinates me and I wanted to try out her ArtPlay Un3dited LIVE layout she demonstrated. Using the mask brushes Anna created just for that purpose and the two photos I wanted to use, I started out not knowing what it was going to become. I didnt even know if it was going to grow up and be a real layout at all. I was going to let the composite tell me what it wanted to be. The moodiness told me it wanted to be Film Noir, one of my favorite movie genres. The photo of Jean Harlow isnt my favorite choice for the layout, but not finding what I really wanted in a decent size, I went with it. I got it from Pinterest.

Upside Down Feet: TOOMUCHFUNRUBBERSTAMPS
Photos: BarnImages, MorgueFile and Pinterest
Font: Wild Spirit
Process Notes: Opening a new 12 x 12 file in PS, I brought in the photo of the building and the sunset sky, blending them together with Color Burn. I added the birds, transfers and stains then with CMD + SHIFT + OPT + E made a composite of all the layers together. I proceeded as Adryane instructed.

Using artsy paper 3 as my foundation, I brought in the mask from Pierian and sandwiched it between the layers and clipped Jean Harlow to it. I duplicated the photo and blended with Overlay. I stamped the brush I made of the upside down feet in the opening, which in turn brought the title of the page to mind.

There is only so much space we are given for our process notes, so Ill condense it here. Using brushes and overlays from the various supplies I listed, placing all of those above and below the photos and being mindful of where I placed the birds, wanting them to look like they are coming off the photo composite.

Adding the various threads and the jewel from Bask, I duplicated the jewel and put a cool glow between the layers, which gave it a little more depth and giving the impression of it being icy. That finished the page.

How very cool!! I love it. (I've been wanting to try my hand at Adryane's technique also but have been a little intimidated to start haha) Absolutely love the dramatic coloring and her looking down on those feet. :) In awe!!

love the title and super creative with "A's" technique - love the reds and the feet sticking up! awesome!

Wow! So creative page! Love it!
