February Challenge #7 - Creative Technique at Oscraps

I am terrible with Layer Masks. They seem simple but somehow I always mess them up. Thank goodness for Ona who does a great job of explaining some ways to use them. I tried all four of the techniques that she outlined in the thread. However, for the photo that I was working with, the smoke brush technique was best for this page. I kept all 4 examples so I might use them in a different LO someday.
Using different smoke brushes, I was able to have a soft edge and the flexibility to include her paws and ears. The paper I chose was also softly colored and matched the shades and tones in her fur.
