Journaling reads: As we approached the toe of the glacier up the outwash plain, the wind started to pick up ever so subtly until, when we reached the edge, it was like the ice was breathing--its called a catabatic wind and it comes as the ice chills the air and the air sinks. I layered up the Artsy Papers on color burn mode and blended in my photo with inverted maskingthe glacier really IS the color of Windex. I stamped in the Alaska brushes using a color I picked from the background. The title and journaling came next, and I finished off with the buttons (duplicated, on hard light blending mode at reduced opacity), bird, and other embellishments.
