FishinJer Calendar - June
I love this photo of Jer fishing. It shows the diversity of this area. Notice the ship in the background. When a ship goes by, the draw of the water is amazing. And also notice the small shrimp boat in the background.
We fish different places, mostly bass fishing in fresh water lakes. This is a brackish water lake in Louisiana, where we fish for speckled trout, red drum, flounder, etc. It is my favorite kind of fishing, because I grew up on the salt water of the Gulf of Mexico. My dad was a shrimper. When I fish here, it feeds my soul. the smell of the salt air, watching the shrimp boats and seeing the wildlife...dolphins, pelicans, egrets and so on, it just brings me back.
