Challenge #1 Creative Techniques

I used Photoshop Elements 2023 to create my layout. I followed the tutorial as closely as possible and tried to replicate the steps that were given in Photoshop CC. I used a picture of my youngest granddaughter.

Thanks, Angie. I wasn't able to get the photo to black and white, as much as I'd hoped, but I'm pretty happy with the total outcome. I need to get more into using CC.

Great job Cheryl! and I just love that quote! I see you have created another page with this technique, getting the black and white effect is tied up with using the Threshold but if you don't use that you can always just de-saturate the colour in your photo as well. I love that you are experimenting and getting to know Photoshop once gain though, well done!

Thanks Ona. I realized after I finished my page that I didn't use the threshhold correctly. Bless Susie's heart, @pachimac she kind of "talked me through it" and I improved on my second layout. I think I got it right on the second page. LOL
