On the afternoon of Day 2 of Oz-week, we visited a butterfly immersion at a local Botanical Garden. Oz wasn't so sure about the butterflies. His favorite part was the popsicle he shared with pop pop.
Somehow in creating these pages, my guides got shifted by a half inch, throwing everything off. So I feel like I had to make this page 3 times. Pardon me if I don't share every detail of how I did it. because I don't know at this point ;-)
Framing - TTA7 Page 12, then I added a favorite postage frame from ArtPlay EnRoute, duplicating it several times.
Background is ArtPlay Eudamonia Solid and Artsy Papers, with lots of brushes added (reinforcing my learnings from the Creative Artistry with Toolsets class - I may be getting carried away, but it will pass :) ).
I used signage from the exhibit over the Eudamonia Journal element, 2 copies, Pin Light then Multiply.
For the large butterfly photo and extraction of Oz on the right, I used a brush from the Toolsets class to create a frame, adding a Drop Shadow and Outer Glow.
The extraction had an awkward area where the black stroller strap dominated the right side, so I created a custom cluster to cover it.

What a fantastic layout! Your photos are amazing! It looks like you all had quite the adventure! I also loved reading your journaling. I'm sorry you had to remake this layout but boy was it worth it! This layout is fantastic! I love all the butterfly elements you used but REALLY love the butterfly poster!!!

Wowzers on that background! And then those large honed-in photos just pop right on top of it! Beautiful colors, and you captured the magic.

Great photos, I love the butterfly of flowers, wow! I don't know what Oz is eating, it looks very delicious, I love all what sweet is, and often have to hold back!

Love rose-bowl-esq butterfly sculpture and is the blue butterfly on the left with the shadow on the ground and element where you added the shadow or a butterfly from the garden (that's how good that one is). Strawberry popsicle looks like a keeper :)
It's a real Blue Morpho flying right between Oz and I. There were a lot of these Blue Morpho's and they're huge, as big as a hand, so Oz was a little creeped out :)
