Journaling reads: I love the warm temperatures and the resulting blooms. These blooms of periwinkle were climbing along the top of the rock wall along Elisabeth’s driveway. The app on my phone told me their name, Big Periwinkle, Vinca Major. They are perennials, used as ground cover, container plants and for use as bank planting for cover and erosion control. I love the color!

I changed the color of some of the elements to better suit the colors of the flowers.
