Love the muted colors and what looks to be a darker sky. Not sure if you added the effect, but it adds drama to your photos. What I like about heritage pics is that there are no retakes. You treasure what you are gifted with.

Oh I love this page. You know that I always love heritage photos of any kind and I love that your mom had such a huge garden of iris. Those were such a staple when I grew up. We had them at our house, at Grandma's house, at Great-Grandma's house. I planted some at one of our houses too. But sadly, no iris in Florida. Great documentation Jean! Love the grays with just a touch of purple, blue and green in that bottom cluster. Beautiful!
