The time is rapidly approaching when one or both of my boys will be launching into the great adventure of life as an adult, a time of both great joy and profound sadness. A new adventure for me, too, as I will be going to live with my 87 year-old father who I will have all to myself for awhile and be his companion until he, too, goes on to a new adventure.

This LO was not difficult to construct. Starting with the background, I applied the eagle first and changed it from black to a suitable color and clipped the word art to it, adjusting color as needed. I then played with the kit elements until it felt right, added text and word art.
