Inspiration – looking at some of the brick print on the papers of Lateritious I thought about the old mills in our town. Went looking for some photos and chose one
Start-File>New 12x12 300
Paper – placed Solid Paper 2 over the background layer
Mask – Used FotoBlendzOverlay 12.1, .3 and.5. I used a different Blend mode on each Pin Light, Overlay, and Color Burn.
Photo – Attached a copy of the same pictures on each of the mask
Transfer – Place Artsy Layered Transfer 3 under the mask and photos at the bottom edge. Transfer 5 I placed under the masks and photo in the upper left corner. I set the blend mode to color and added a mask. Painted out some of the transfer where it showed through the photos.
Brushes – Brush 9 was placed in white with Blend Mode Overlay over one of the trees. Brush 6 was placed over the building on the right side in Gray with Blend Mode Overlay.
Element Cluster – First laid the lace which I turned to red with Ctrl U, then the foliage, next the string, then I added the orange tag from APP Wildflower (used Ctrl U to change the ribbon which I selected with the Magic Wand Tool to red), I added the heart from APP Elysium on the tag and made two copies. Added UrbanTheadz 16.6 over two of the hearts, lastly, I added the flower.
Words – Word Art Forever Ago was added as the title. Added a thin stroke to it.
