Sea Beach

Inspiration – I love attending the sessions that Anna offers every couple of weeks, I get ideas to try. I am currently trying to create better clusters. In the past, the best I could do was to combine three elements together. So pushing myself to create bigger clusters.

File – Create New File File>New 12x12 300

Paper – Placed Solid Paper 4 above the background layer

Brush – Painted Surf’s Up brush 1.5 onto the paper

Transfers – Artsy Transfer 4 I put in the upper left-hand corner. Then word transfer Sumptuous was placed under the brush and duplicated the transfer. The first one was set to Vivid Light blend mode and the copy set to Linear Light.

Frames – Moved the frames from Artsy Layered Template 267 onto my page

Photos – I took a beach-surf photo I had taken using ICM above the brush and duplicated it. The blend mode on the copy was set to Overlay. Added two photos to the mask layer of the frames using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. Another photo was placed over the paper layer to completely cover it. The blend mode was set to Overlay. I added a mask to the photo and painted where it covered the transfer.

Cluster – Started with the word Sea, and added the heart, word strip, flower, and ribbon. I added drop shadows to all. Next added the beach and love to complete the title cluster.

Words – typed in the enclosed area created by the cluster.
