About Me: I Would Never Forget

It was before GPS and wi-fi, and we were camping. I saw these lights, and couldn't take my eyes off them. Were they coming closer? Sometimes, and then they'd move in a different direction. I was wary more than scared, but on Halloween above Santa Fe. Later we suspected it was a fireworks show.

Great photo and story. I think I'd be a little leery too and it wouldn't have to be Halloween!

I'm still trying to picture how you saw fireworks through all the trees. I was thinking you were going to say fireflies. Love the haunted feel of your forest with the fairy lights.

We might have been on a bluff near a dropoff and no trees just beyond our vision. It was so strange, I just kept telling myself 'they' wouldn't be coming for us when the city was full of people and we'd have to be so much harder to find than about anybody else. If it was fireworks, it went on well into the middle of the night at least, and it wasn't brightly colored lights. It was pale or white like on my page. I'm still not convinced I have a clue. ;)

Um...sure...right... it was just fireworks. o_O
Well, whatever "it" was, it makes for a great story and I love how you illustrated it. A wonderful and slightly spooky page. The Halloween word art is perfect for it, too.
