Most of this layout's background is a large photo with a simple brush-on-layer-mask extraction on the lower right-hand portion to make space for journaling. Under the journaling is solid paper #5 from the Artplay Palette. After inserting the photos in the frames, I embellished the template with transfers/overlays, buttons, and a botanical, then blended a wood word from the wordART set into the photo using overlay blend mode. My finishing touch was some wire from the Archive Artplay Palette.
Like Ulla-May, love everything! That added fence, and the see-through title, plus love the contrast of the blue in the photos against the green background! Inspiring work!
Stunning photos and page love the blending on the background the image of the bridge the miners worked hard to get 200 tons of coal every 8 hours all done by hand....my brother in law worked down the pits for 12 years he never saw daylight in the winter as most miners didn't in those days.tfs.x
As I looked down that long narrow bridge all of those "exciting" moments when I've been standing at that end of one of these, and then in the middle came back. Woo! A fun trip.
