It's funny what images trigger the memories. When I saw the cross-stitching on the paper, I immediately thought about the sampler that my grandmother made my cousin and me do. My cousin finished hers and of course I never finished mine. Photo of my cousin and me (curly hair) when we were 3.

MultiMedia Melic 1 (dragonfly)

Process
Artsy paper from APP Patience was used as the foundation of the page. A MultiMedia Documents set was layered on the paper. The photos were clipped to fotoblendz masks. One was placed over the MM Document book and the other placed in the upper right corner. The images were duplicated with the top layer changed to a hard light blending mode. The yellow buttercup flowers were added to the journal. The page was completed by adding dimensional embellishments and word art.

Quel merveilleux retour à l'enfance ! le point de croix ravive les souvenirs, je n'ai jamais eu assez de patience pour terminer un ouvrage. Moi je dis, vive le scrap numérique !
