Every since I was probably around 5 years old, Santa comes to visit the area on Christmas Eve. He would come down from the North Pole and hitch a ride on the fire truck from my dad's fire company. He would drive around with the other firefighters, handing out gifts and candy to everyone. After I moved out and had kids of my own, I would bring my kids down to meet Santa. Now, my nephew is 6 and he loves seeing him roll up on the truck.

Oh, I love this layout with the great photo in the middle of the faded candy cane striped paper. I also love the photo and you've brought back a wonderful Christmas memory for me. When we lived in Takoma Park, Md. many years ago, our local firehouse also drove around the neighborhoods with lights on the truck and Santa at the wheel on Christmas Eve. I had forgotten about this, but your wonderful layout reminded me. Thank you.

I love this, Chris. Those lights remind me of the kids' faces lighting up when they see Santa, no matter the ride he uses. I love how he comes into our towns in every mode of transportation and the response is the same ... LOVE & JOY. I love your page...makes me smile.
