Challenge 3 is about endangered species. Even though the Monarch butterfly is not on an official list, it's numbers are greatly diminishing. I chose this because Texas is on their migration path. And I've noticed the decline increases as the years go by. Photo of butterfly taken at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The center grows the milkweed they especially love.
