You can't see them here, but in the background of the focal photo are DOZENS of Great White Egrets as well as a bunch of Zen-like Great Blue Herons. It was the most magical place to have a pre-birthday lunch with my daughter. It was fun to catch up, and I think I made a birder out of her. In addition to the egrets and herons, she added a bald eagle and two least bitterns to her new birding life list. Somebody's getting binoculars for Christmas.
Process in Photoshop Elements 14: After placing the focal photo in the Scenic Template clipping mask, I moved the two existing template frames to the right, clipped photos to the masks, then added the Framed Mask to accommodate an extra photo. I added several background papers from the Artplay Palette, then a few LoveGlos on overlay blend mode and soft light blend mode around the focal photo for light. The LoveGlos are really cool because them come with hearts. I completed my design with texture, color, and overall visual interest with Artsy Transfer No. 5, the layers of which I tucked behind and around the figure of my daughter in the focal photo, as well as Artsy Transfer No 4, located behind the heron.
