I started with the dark solid paper and placed the patterned paper over it. After erasing part of the patterned paper I changed the blend mode to soft light. I placed strips of paper and ribbon along both sides of the layout, anchored my picture with the photo corners, and added a small cluster to my journaling paper opposite my photo.
