'Unexpected'

Journaling: Freeze. We woke up to about 5 inches of snow and 4F tenmperatures. Saturdays are typically go-go around here with sports and chores and other activities. Luke was not well and ended up sleeping all afternoon, missing most of the lacrosse tryouts and his baskerball game. I discovered I had lost my credit card the previous evening and so decided a jammies day was in order. The idea being that if I dont leave my office, I cannot lose anything else. Time to freeze a bit, slow down so Im not so distracted. And when life throws snowballs at you, your husband brings youpink roses from Costco and takes you to a party.
