Welcome to Day 8's "Two Truth and a Lie." This is an easy game that I think we'll all enjoy. This is how it will work.

In the next post, I will post two truths and one lie about my December holiday plans. The next person will guess which of my options is the lie and then post two truths and a lie of their own.

Please tag the person above you when you make your guess so they can come back and tell us which one was a lie.

Game Prizes and rules:

PRIZES:

- Winner 1 - $10 to Fei Fei Stuff
- Winner 2 - $5 to Lynne Anzelc Designs
- Winner 3 - $5 to AFT Designs
*All prize coupons will be distributed after the games and challenges are closed at the end of the month.

RULES:
- Guess which of the three options immediately above you is the lie and then post two truths and a lie of your own.
- This game closes at PST 11.59 pm 13 December 2025
- Please note: Games close earlier than the Challenges. In order to be eligible for one of the Grand Prizes you need to have participated in ALL of the games prior to them being closed.
- Create a post in the 12 DAYS TRACKING THREAD 2025 to keep track of your games participation.

(We will select our Grand Prize winners from this thread, so create a post now and remember to keep updating it throughout the month! )

David purchased all his own gifts this year.
I'm having stuffed Chilean sea bass for Christmas dinner.
I don't put up a Christmas tree.

(I can't see you making David purchase allllll his gifts! But-- maybe I am wrong:D)

My family considers Christmas a full two-day holiday.
Santa doesn't bring presents to my house anymore.
I watch It's a Wonderful Life when I wrap presents.

#2 is a lie.. I think (maybe I am wrong) even if your children are grown there may be 1 small gift noted it is from Santa to keep the tradition going.

1. We are not putting up the tree this year.
2. We watch It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve with snacks instead of a dinner.
3. Christmas Dinner for us is a Turducken.

@faerywings see post above form Christa :)

Just a reminder, be sure to tag the username of the person that posted the truths or lie that you have answered. :)

  3. We open our Christmas presents in the afternoon.

@Angela Toucan I don't trust men to cook, I pick no 2 is a lie.

2. I'm planning a big Christmas dinner.

Actually it is #3.. a Turducken is a Turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken. Usually it is all deboned and rolled I think. I have never had one, but it is supposed to be something people eat on the holidays LOL

It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite movie and Christmas movie with Jimmy Stewart. It is a holiday tradition of hubby and I since it is only the two of us, we have a quiet time together Christmas Eve with snacks like a cheeseball etc. Christmas dinner is always Shrimp Scampi!

2) All our rooms are decorated for Christmas.

@faerywings I hate to break it to you but the lie was Christmas dinner of stuffed Chilean sea bass. David doesn't eat fish. Alas, David purchased all his own gifts this year. Not cause I made him but because he was in complete violation of the rule to not purchase things for yourself starting with Black Friday. lol
