Well, one way to wake up is to see a voicemail notification on your phone, listen to it, and hear it is from your brother asking you to call him and that he was going to call my house phone in a few minutes. No one calls me after 9 pm unless it is an emergency. I woke Gary to ask if my brother had called the house because I would have/should have heard that ring but didn't. I texted my brother and it wasn't from him. I think it was a call from when my mom was in the ER but he was super concerned about a scammer calling. The VM# I called is the same one in my contacts so who knows what happened? Either way, I was groggy and discombobulated and now I can't remember how much coffee I drank. The pot is almost empty but so is my brain.
As the camp counselors left the main office yesterday to meet the kids at their drop-off, I asked them all not to let anyone get hurt. They did great, at least during the time I was "Acting Health Director."
I spent that time outlining my HS Autumn curriculum. I have ideas and topics for all 6 weeks. Now I have to flesh them out, create the supply lists, and I am on my way. Yay!
I finally saw a monarch caterpillar!! Just the one so far, but I am cheering him on. The phlox has been a big draw for Eastern Swallowtails, Gary and I both got a few good pictures of them. The hummingbird camera got a few pics of wasps drinking from it, too. I'm hoping that the bird feeder pole arrives soon so I can rehang that camera. I checked the order status and it is logged as "Completed," but nothing about it being shipped or a tracking#.
I am not the most patient person in the world, in case you couldn't tell. *wink*
Plans for today are sort of up in the air. It was supposed to rain, and as of right now, it is just gorgeous. 71* and clear blue sky. I really, really, really should clean inside and I have a ton of backlogged scrapping tasks. But you know it-- the yard is calling to me.
Hoping that you all have a lovely day! ♥

Its another hot day and after yesterdays rain it feels oppressive muggy. I think the humidity on the sensor said 98% but I think it was wrong. However a slight cross breeze through the house would be nice. My remote for the fan/light in the bedroom died and now I can either run the fan with light or nothing.
What am I suppose to do at night??? I want the fan and no lights. Mmmmmmmm
Not healthy but man yummy. Okay, now I need to see if I can book a halibut charter (dreaming) but maybe I still have some in the freezer. I'm also with you Terri, ready for the next challenges but have to wait a little longer.
