Good morning, my lOves!
I have good news to share—I already got my mammo results and they're all clear! I don't have to go back for another year.
Part of me was musing that maybe I can stretch it out to 2 years between scans but that probably isn't the smartest idea. I used the "what advice would I give to Caitlyn" metric and it failed that test. I commented (as always) to the tech that I do not understand with all of the new technology that no one has been able to come up with a better way. She was probably a few years older than me and said that she has been doing these for a long time. When she started out, she never thought it would be almost the same process all these years later. Sure, the digital part makes it easier to read but the mechanics-- *awful.*
Yes, I know I am preaching to the choir, ladies but Gary doesn't understand the same way you do.
Before I left home, I looked for a CVS that does vaccines and there was one a couple of miles up the highway so I stopped in and got the pneumonia vax. My arm is slightly sore if I poke at it. (Faery, stop poking at your arm- DUH! LOL). It didn't even bother me sleeping on it. It's a one-and-done and I asked her if there were any other vaccines she would suggest and I am all good. I'm not "old enough" for RSV and the only one I am missing is TDap but I react badly to tetanus so that is an "only if necessary" one.
As long as I was traveling on the highway, I stopped at BJs to get new water bottles, I like the brand that has the one-handed release which is easier to use for driving. My Yeti is too big and too heavy for in the car and I get grossed out by water bottles with straws. I feel like I never can get them clean enough even if I scrub them.
My plans for the afternoon were to scrap and scrap and scrap. But I couldn't. My computer, ACDSee, and PS were not playing nicely with each other. In fact, they were practically brawling. I ran C Cleaner, rebooted -- no better. I backed up and then Optimized my ACDsee database. Slightly better. I have an old version of ACDSee and an ancient version of PS and I dread the day when -- Well. I am not going to even say it.
We were supposed to go over to Scott's today to visit with him and the kiddos but their dad is going to be spending the day with them. Booo. But Scott told us to come over anyway if we wanted. I am excited to check out his birdfeeders.
Maybe all of my computer gremlins are tormenting someone else today, although not any of you. Tom is cooking dinner tonight so I should have lots of time this afternoon.
Sending all of you big hugs today!
