GoooOd morning my O-Fam!!!
I have lots of coffee on for anyone who wants and needs some.

Scott is always coming up with cool ideas for things he wants to invent. We wanted to do an IV drip for caffeine but that isn't too practical. So he thought of a dermal patch that would have a slow dissolving layer that breaks down after 8 hours, which exposes the caffeine which then hits your bloodstream right before you are supposed to wake up. pretty cool, eh? I could use something like that. This past week, i have been in such a deep sleep right when my alarm goes off.

So here is some :tea: while we wait for his mad inventions to be developed.

These storms in the South seem so scary. hope that everyone here and all of your families are OK.

I am off to MIL's today. i was hoping the rain would hold off so I could work in her yard, but it is looking very nasty ATM.

I have to get the koids off to school, but I'll try to pop in for quick personals in a bit!

im here for now....LOL gotta go get a few groceries in a bit i planned out meals til next payday we are on a bit of a budget now seeing as we got a few more unexpected payments added to our list grrrr anyways....i'll be back later....i need to make some LO's for my CT's today but i can't post them til they are in stores but i do plan to make a few with the easter pictures i have and post them asap!

I am back for a bit. MIL called to say to come down tomorrow. Severe T-storms are predicted and she didn't want me to have to drive in it. I am about 45 moins from her. So I was cleaning the attic out a bit, got some summer clothes down.

i should take kristy's 'advice" and scrap now- since I won't turn on my compouter if it gets bad with the weather.

Clara- how did your email go over with your sis aka bridezilla? I hope that the fall out wasn't too bad. Sometimes things have to be said early on before it gets totally out of hand.
Ah! Just read your next section quickly and i thought you said that YMG was at *his* GF's!! Whew! Glad it was david not Derek! hahahah!

Re: HP- yeah, i wouldn't suggest it for younger kids either. It was filmed very dark, very intense.

Good Morning O Ladies!! Hope that everyone is having a fantastic Thursday!! I am very happy, because this is my friday, my last day of work this work and then I get three days off. They fired one of the girls that I work with the other day, so things are really crazy busy at work. But they said that they have stretched me as far as I can go and don't want to make me work any more hours than I have. They want to keep me happy and not take the chance of losing me. So that kind of boosted my ego a bit. Tee Hee :)! They are hiring three more part time cashiers and want me to start training in the paint dept., that should be interesting and get me off of cash for a bit, horray for my feet!! Any way better get going to work, I still have to eat and :brushteeth: before heading out , but will be back here later today horray!!!

Chris - Great big :kiss: and :hug: back at ya! hope your day is great and you get your attic cleaned out, horray for getting out the summer clothes, its about time I'd say!

Kristy - Can't wait to see your layouts!!

Clara - Good luck with all your Bridesilla troubles, you will work it out I am sure!

morning all - very windy here last night- woke me up at 3am and I did not sleep well. Cleaning today- mr gorgeous won't recognize his office when he goes in tonight!! I need to plant a forsythia and hosta's I bought on Saturday- still windy here and chilly. However mr sun is out- Praying for all those affected by yesterdays horrible weather.
 
i did my CT LO's but i have yet to create one for my easter pics...not sure yet what i wanna do lol

Trudy - Happy Friday!! You know something? I thought for the longest time for some reason that you were a nurse (maybe because you talked about being on your feet all day) but now I see you mention cashiers and paint depts - where do you work?

Chris - hey, we have tornado warnings - be careful! Did you ever see that commercial on tv about the inventions and how you submit them? The disclaimer is hysterical. They're always on during the kids tv shows which is kind of dumb bc not really the audience for inventions. Where's your MIL live? You asked me the other day about the route I take to my moms - I do take 78 for part of the way. It's cruddy bc there are so many different ways to take there but none of them are anywhere near what you'd call "direct" or even close to a straight line on a map. I go 33 to 130 then backroads to 287. Take 287 to 78 then 78 to 31 then 31 to 46. They live by the Pequest Fish Hatchery and Land of Make Believe if you know where either one of those places are. I live right off of exit 8 on the turnpike but you never know what the traffic is going to be like going that route so I avoid that. Oh, I still have to look on a map to see exactly where you are (I think you said Milford?) but I have an entertainment book that has a bunch of things in it for Union County and other north jersey stuff. I'd be happy to mail anything over to you north of somerset!

Clara - I didn't read up yesterday to hear what happened but will now to catch up - hope everything worked out or is on it's way to working itself out.

Sally - if you pop in here like your usual burst of sunshine - HELLO!!

Kristy - can't wait to see the Easter layouts! Easter is the only time I miss not having any girls so I can dress them up in pretty easter outfits but I'll get to see yours :)

Personal for me - I'm running around like a kook trying to get work done, start learning how to use my new machine (I only have done Yahoo messenger so far on it-haha) and get ready to make a Batman cake for my little guy who's turning 4 on May 1st. Gosh, he's getting so big. Thank God he still wants to sit on my lap and constantly give me hugs and kisses. I don't want my boys to ever leave me!!

OK to the batcave to get stuff done - over and out ladies!!
 
got one easter LO done and i did upload 3 other LO's from my CT yesterday :) i've been trying to make myself a new siggy with the pictures from easter but nothing seems to come together right LOL
 
Okay girlies...............I am here..........I am trying to get back into the swing of things...but I am slowly moving!!!

I HATE THAT I AM NOT IN HERE EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did get away for a couple of days and I am feeling better this week..but DH is at home all week...so WHO CAN DO ANYTHING WITH A MAN UNDER FOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave up sitting for little Conner.....I think it was more stress on me than I could handle. I still believe that he is special needs and I am not equipped for that, plus the things that I tell his Mom that he does, she just doesn't listen to me....But now it's just me Savannah and Cameran....which is good because now we can do so much more this Summer.

Better run.....I need to get dinner going...then we need to go grocery shopping...YUCK!!!

Nana Linda - Soooo glad you made that decision!!! With someone else watching him, and sharing with her what's going on, hopefully she'll see the issues and realize you're not overreacting. Glad to see there's now a little less stress in your life :) Keep taking care of yourself babe!!!

Chris - does Scott ever watch Pitchmen?!?! They often have young people show their inventions on there!!! That's so awesome that he's actively trying to come up with things :)

Still running around and not getting much work done. I just realized I never loaded my new releases for this weekend into the stores... I was still thinking today was Wednesday.... darn :-\

I'm so glad to see everyone is hanging in there!!!!! And staying active :) I've been thinking a lot lately about making a "standing" desk to make sure I don't sit too much. There's been a lot of articles about the harms of sitting all day at work... and I'm bothered by them :-\ Apparently exercise every day isn't enough... it's important to get a few minutes of elevated activity/movement an hour. I think I'm going to set an hourly alarm to remind me to get up and do jumping jacks or something!

Fitness/weight-loss wise... I haven't gotten much treadmill time lately, but I've been on my feet a TON lately. With Jeff's cousin visiting from Texas, I've been hanging out with her a lot and doing things like window shopping and... pedicures!!! I've also gone on a natural supplement for women that's supposed to help with getting the metabolism back on track, hormone balancing, anti-oxidants, & other weight loss related things. It's only been a few days... but wow... I feel amazing!! Don't worry, I totally researched it and it isn't some crazy fad thing.

Well... back to work with me... lots to get done before the wedding stuff starts :)
 
Meg- can you build a desk to fit over the treadmill arms to hold your laptop and then you could stand and walk very slowly while working- I saw that on a news cast once for people who work on computers all day- kept their minds more active as well!!

Yeah... I looked into doing that but the arms on our treadmill aren't long/big enough. I'm bummed :( maybe if I ever get an iPad I can make a small desk for that and do all of my marketing and forum posting while on the treadmill...
