Ugh- had a whole thing typed out here and then my comouter froze.

we are off to cait's appt in a few, I am a real mess about this, Tryoing to keep in inside and be strong for her.

Good thoughts and prayers or whatever for both of us would be sincerely appreciated!

I am trying to find last years tax returns or what they look like so my computer guy can find them on my hard drive!!!!

Then it is off to work for me. I think I get to see the new baby today.

We are getting our 80 degrees today :)....it came earlier than forecasted and now it's only going to be 60 tomorrow and 55 Sunday :(

not much goin on here today dh is gonna pick up his new truck after work today....he traded in his scion....then he is gonna pick up a friend of the girls to come and stay the weekend
this little boy is like my son...before we moved he was at our house more than he was ever with his own mother...sad huh??

I am off work until Tuesday and hope to get lots accomplished this weekend. My craft room is in dire need of some decluttering. I have drawers of craft paint that needs to be thrown out as they are dried up. I would like to get back to painting some day, but right now I am just not that into it. If the weather co-operates then some windows could use a washing too. Monday we are off to the dental specialist for the last time (for real this time) horray! My jaw is so much better, but I think I will have to keep wearing the splint at night for a while yet.

Laurie - hope you find what you are looking for, have a great day at work and enjoy seeing the new baby!

Nana Linda- Sounds wonderfully warm there today, wish I could join you for a walk in the sunshine!

Thanks so much for the prayers- I think that they worked.

As of right now, the Dr says that her spine is almost done growing. Bracing will only hold the spine steady as it grows, it won't make it straight. So if she is done growing, a brace won't make that much sense. She is upset that she is going to be short, but I told her I would rather be short than in a brace. (Too bad I had both :p)
They took some more x-rays today and unless it shows a bigger curve than the ones we brought, we will just have to go back every 6 months to monitor it.

I'll take that in a heartbeat.

I had myself so stressed, and sick over this. I know it isn't rational but I couldn't help it. I was exhausted when we got home and I took a nap. Cait wanted to go back to school, even tho it was only for 2 periods. We had to be there at 8 am and didn't get back into W Milford until 12:30. loooong morning.

Chris I'm glad things turned out OK! If it causes her pain, like mine did, I did physically therapy on and off over the years. I'm not allowed to do cross country running anymore because of the bad combo of my spine and big boobs, so I have to do low impact workouts. That's the hardest, because nothing gets my heart pumping and calories burning like long distance running for me. So I'm ordering crazy hardcore bras from Shop Bounce and hopefully I can run again :)

I overslept today, got into two fights, and still have an awful migraine from my allergies!
I think I'm going to go crawl back into bed.

Meg - Getting back to running might be just what the doctor ordered!! All that fresh air and excercise should make you feel better!!
 
Evening all - grocery shopping after work on a Friday- not bad because Ohio State was playing in the NCAA tournament so the stores were empty! Bought a new mouse and mouse pad too- wait till you see all the love I leave in the gallery tonight.

LOL the doctor keeps ordering me to NOT run! He's afraid I'm going to need back surgery, but uhm, I technically already do! Having extra weight doesn't help my back either, so I need to run. Unfortunately we dooooo noooootttt have fresh air, some of the worst air in the world, so I'm probably going to spend my share of our tax refund on a used treadmill. We portioned out a bit of our refund for each of us to have some "fun money" and my fun is probably the treadmill!
 
Hey ladies!!

Today was pretty busy. Or at least felt busy!! After I got Ethan off to school Addie and I got ready to go to a picnic potluck at a local park with some other moms from my church with [preschoolers. It was fun and I met some new ladies, which is always fun. Then I headed to a consignment sale but all the good stuff was gone. Tomorrow is another sale at another site that I am debating going to. Addie needs shoes that are easy to put on and match lots of things. Her regular go-to shoes now hurt her feet.

So, at the consignment sale she got a balloon. We went home and drew a face on it and she named it Balloony. So I then told her to leave it alone for alittle bit and as soon as I wasn't paying attention apparently she took it outside so it could rest in the sun. Well, it wasn't wrapped around her wrist and as always happens with little ones and she came into the house absolutely hysterical. completely freaking out about the balloon. She decided that it went up to Jesus but that he should give it back...because it didn't even have hair on it. She was completely inconsolable. It was so sad.

Then it was off to take Ethan to the rock gym for his class and then Addie and I got Korean BBQ to take to Derek at work tonight. He has his last night of working on the schedule that was all screwed up. I hate him working all night when he works all day too. It stinks.

Chris - I am so glad the appointment went well. I know you were really worried. Hugs for you!!

Laurie - Good luck finding your tax stuff. I hope you find it. That's why I always use the same tax software because then it is saved on their system...well, supposedly. I did have the issues I had this year, but I'll fix that next year.

Linda - isn't this weather amazing? I am loving it.

LindaS - Great to see you in here today. I hope you had a good week with the kids.

Kristy - I hope you guys enjoy your new truck...and the time with your kids' friend.

Trudy - good luck at the appt. I hope it is truly the last one this time. I know what a pain it is for you to go there. Yay about your jaw feeling better.
