Woot it's Friday already!! Most of you will have a weekend off after this work day; I will go back to work until Christmas :mmph:
But after this iDSD-weekend, momma needs to go make some more money so I can spend it on Black Friday Bwhahahaha!! :peace:

I hope you will all have a fantastic day and wonderful weekend!! Hugs and love to all of you amazing friends I can still not believe I have only been here 2 months! :hug:

yes, TGIF! I am sorry that you have to work from now til C-mas, but that is also really good news.

I am working at MIL's today. I haven't seen her since her surgery (on her neck) so i am hoping that she is doing ok and that she'll make sure that she tells me to do what has to get done.

If trudy is your sister and you are my nana, that makes her my AUNT!! woot! Clara we have a new family member!

How did your conference go? When my guys were little I loved conferences, for the same reason. Now...um.... not so much LOL

Katrina- i think when more people had the day off, they observed it on a Monday so you would have a three day weekend. Not many people get the day off anymore. It took us all day to remember that there was no mail delivery.

Hi Laurie! whew! Good to hear that things are ok. My gyn thought I had fibroids 2 years ago- has an u/s and everything was good, such a relief!

Trudy- Cannot wait to see YMG in his uniform ;) I was reading on another forum how different Remembrance Day and Veteran's Day are celebrated. It is a very big deal in CA isn't it? Its a shame that we inthe US don't put more effort into honoring our Vets :(

and thanks about the avatar; the reindeer comes out of Kitty Designs new Christmas kit and the background is one of the word overlays of her Christmas kit but it's not included in the kit unless you get the bigger one with the QPs. :)

Yeah working til Christmas can be good IF we're getting more freight. We're actually trying to get back on the dedicated account our company has with TJ Maxx as the fleet manager that runs that board is a tough cookie but she also makes sure you make plenty of miles and thus have awesome pay checks every week! So hopefully she will respond today *keeps fingers crossed* It's a tough account to get on; we've done it for a year and a half and they gave it to another manager who really sucked and we didn't get as many miles so we swapped. But now SHE is back we want to be back on it too. You have to have a 100% on time record or she won't even look at you, which luckily, we have! It would be awesome if we could get back on!

FIRSTLY.................WOMAN..................GOT GET YOUR GYN CHECK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that is my NANA order for the day!!!!

Now about your niece....I am so very sorry sweetie....and this entire situation will be in my prayers....This mother needs to be checked for more than ADHD....My daughter is BiPolar and it sounds like she possibly may be too...and let me say this about her shopping trip to IKEA.....I know it sounds completely horrible, but sometimes when we can't cope anymore with daily life, doing something like that can bring you back to where you need to be....now while most of us would not be leaving our babies bedside, some must cope differently.........sigh....just trying to put some reasoning in here....whatever the situation may be, she needs help and probably should not be in charge of those kids!!!

Laurie, glad to hear the dr. visit went well. Yes, they make you wait so long in the waiting room for such a short visit!

Chris - hope your mil is on the mend!

Our parent teacher conference went fine. Christian seems to be doing well in school although we have some work to do with him on his fine motor skills. He's really not into tracing or coloring - would much rather be playing - so we are going to be working with him at home on these skills to help him get ready for kindergarten next year. The teacher said he's a good boy and they enjoy having him in class.

ME.....I hear on the overdose of food...I hate when I do that!! BUT OH IT'S SO GOOD AT THE TME!!! WOOOOOT FOR DH BEING HOME!!!! and I sure C's conference went fabulous!!!

Katrina....I think...not real sure...but think they USED to celebrate it on Mondays....but since everything else is celebrated on a Monday...guess we could just be getting it mixed up!!! Glad you had such a good morning sweetie..hope today is too!!!

Laurie....very proud of you for going to your appt!!! and EXTRA proud for making next years already!!! Glad things went well, and I am sure the polyp will be nothing much to worry over....they usually can tell if it looks strange.

Chris...I got all excited last Friday, only to discover I was a week off!!

My SIL (Mike's Sister, not the crazy lunatic SIL) are going...WOOOOT GIRLS NIGHT OUT!! We are going to dinner too!!

Had a great day with my Mom yesterday...I was home about 2....then I had to print some photos and get a package ready and head to UPS to ship off to Alison, well Jacob....I had told him his present was a little late, but he was good with that....it's like the birthday keeps going like that!!

I have Savannah now, but Connor did not show up...hhhmmmm ....that sort of pisses me off.....I hate NO SHOWS and NO CALLS!!!! I am going to have to amend my agreement with her...I don't charge when she doesn't come...but this is the third time she has just not shown up.....so I may have to tell her if it's not prearranged...to be off, she will have to pay!! I hate to, but it's not fair to me. Days when I only have Savannah I can plan things.

Okay...I am off...I need to get some things done around here...

I will I promise! My MIL is on me about it too and she is a nurse practitioner.

About my SIL; well they did test her for a bunch of stuff and it didn't come up so I reckon she doesn't have it.
She simply sits behind her laptop all day and lets her mom take care of her kids during the day, puts Chloë in the play pen instead of putting her in bed where she can have decent rest (as the TV is blaring all day long I've been told). Also the woman checking on her twice a week and the therapist the little girl (5-year old) has to go to told her to pick up her daughter from school for lunch and to build in more stability and make a more steady schedule but she only complains that the school is too far to walk (it's less than a mile away) and that lunch break is too short to pick her up for. Which lunch hour IS an hour. She is just plain lazy. I may sound harsh but I am beyond angry at her. She will even ask my mom for money to e.g. pay for swimming lessons for the kids to find out she spent it on clothes....for herself! That's why I know the Ikea trip is not to cope with the situation. She lets my brother take care of her there too and she, again, is on the laptop in the RMD house. Now of course they need some time for themselves every day as it is very stressful etc. but they need to share the responsibilities for their little girl; not just one parent.
I can go on and on with examples I keep hearing and they are all like this: her kids come after herself. I just need to change the subject before I explode :redface:

Anyhow, Linda you do need to say something about the fact that there needs to be a call if they are not going to bring Connor over. You are generous enough to take care of them but you have your own life as well and that's just not fair. I do hope you will enjoy your day with Savannah!!

Great to hear your boy is doing good in school Me! I am sure he will do just fine :) See that's how a mom should be in my opinion: caring about her child and doing everything to help him/her in his/her development!
 
Ohhh ME...I did not see your post....

Glad to hear C's conference went well...No worries about the coloring and tracing...Cameran did not either until Kindergarten last year when he had to do it...I could not believe how QUICKLY he was a pro at it....boys just don't care that much....they have PLAY PLAY PLAY on the brain!!!

Petra....WEll, I am sorry the girl has so many issues....it's hardest on the kids!!! I will pray there comes some solutions!!! and YES...get that appt!!!
 
Petra-- will keep your family in my prayers. That is just so sad to hear. I wish the law would be more fair and really be about true justice. I have 2 friends who lost custody of their sons when the guy was a real douche bag. My one friend was beaten by her husband on 3 occasions and 2 were documented. She broke his ankle this last time in defense and they took her son away from her!!!
My other friend had a person follow her and her ex for over a month, seeing them interact with their son and talking with everyone they know. She told the judge he should be living with her, but the judge ruled against it. First time that has ever happened in the whole of the US! Crappy system we have.

Me--don't worry about the coloring. My youngest hated to color. He just started liking it in 2nd grade!

Nice easy day for me. I have no idea how I did on my test. I don't find out till monday. I'm hoping the teacher will email me my grade. I made an apple crisp last night! My first time and it was soooooo good! My 10 year old made chocolate chip cookies! So much for losing weight!

I saw a post here somewhere about recipes? I should go check it out. I'm tired of making the same things over and over. So my goal the next 2 weeks is to not make anything I normally make. That will be very challenging. I am a creature of habit!

Well my hair is now all one color again. Unfortunately it is so red it is almost purple. I even bought a dark brown! It was supposed to have just a hint of red to it. I left it in for the minimum amount of time too and used only a 20 developer. Grrr. It should lighten up over the next couple weeks. I wanted to go back to as close as my original so when my roots come in I could just leave it alone. We shall see if that works out!

Quickie for me today, Jeff had to wake up early to drive the 35 minutes into work for a 1 hour meeting... so two hours total... grrrr!
The other thing with the tweaker getting arrested -- turns out it was a HUGEEEEE misunderstanding, and Jeff is alright.

Riley keeps coming in to cuddle, only for a few minutes at a time, then quickly abandons me. It's super chilly this morning!!! I'm going to go hide back under the covers... hopefully that'll keep me from buying the stuff that's in my shopping cart at scrapbook graphics.

I do create on the road when I have a day off and if I feel like it. Problem is I also create for a huge Sims 2 forum and am a designer there. I have been a big slacker there! Not enough time to do everything I want to do...but aren't we all there?
I used to make more QPs but I am doing more word art now although it's very simple. I still have a lot to learn with techniques :)

I'm sorry to hear about your friends; seems very unfair how it goes doesn;t it? My family lives in the Netherlands though and it works a bit different over there but I guess it depends on what side you're on yourself as well I guess. If you are for the other party and they may not get what you want them to get it can be very frustrating and disappointing.
And there are never any winners. Big thing is the children are the biggest victims :(
 
Helllllllllooooooooooo!!

I just want to hop in and say hey!! After reading all that I really want to do some personals but no time. Whah!!! I'm hanging out in Cleveland until Sunday morning. Derek's grandpa is doing okay. They moved him out of the hospital into a longterm care facility but it is just a waiting game now. When Derek talked to him he turned his head toward him but didn't open his eyes or anything. He won't awckwoledge my MIL though because he's mad at her for putting him in the first nursing home. She doesn't blame him. She didn't like it either. But she is seeming a lot better and is talking about things to come and is back to worrying about money like she usually does. But for a while she was just so upset and now she's back to laughing about things and is enjoying having the kids around. Tonight we are having family over for a quickie bday gathering for Addie since her Bday is in a week. Supposedly Derek's brother (the younger one from cincinatti - the one that pissed me off so bad with the wedding and stuff) is coming up today. But who knows. I mean he has hunting activities planned and we wouldn't want to bother him with that so that he could see his family and all. I am soooooo not his biggest fan these days. I could care less if he came up if it didn't mean so much to his family. So, for them I hope he does...but give me the opportunity and the seclusion and you know I would let him have it. Tomorrow we are going to the Food Network show. We get to see Guy Fieri. Whoohoo!

Okay, times up and I think I included everything. I'm slowly starting to feel better finally. Yay!! Oh and Laurie thanks for the stubhub tip. I am looking into that as an option also. I'll try and get back here for personals later if I can. I do love all of you though. Hugs!!
