OK ... I'm in again this month! With this post I'm at 4953 ... so I'm gonna shoot for 5500! Hhhhhhmmmmmm .... I haven't done any cheering recently have I??? Gonna have to get my song book out & see what I can come up with ... tee-hee!
 
Love the new grown ups in here - spew- like having a grown up photo makes us grown up- anyways just stopping in to see what everyone was up to!

Going to have another big run in the gallery today. Would be awesome if I made my goal before I leave next Wed. but I think that could be pushing my fingers too much and I'll need them to work for the 8hr drive.

I drive fast too.. a steady 5mph over...(would go faster, but I've already had 1 speeding ticket before like 5 years ago, so I try to be better!)

It's probably a 9 hr drive.

Plus I only stop like twice on the whole drive, not good for the circulation I suppose, but I get so antsy to arrive. :tongue:

My sister goes to Law School at Cornell, so that is a little farther. I may be making the trip there too while I'm up there :-)
 
I used to live off state route 34 between Auburn and Ithaca - loved the gorges in Ithaca- compared to relatively flat central OH, I so miss it. Have you ever stopped at Sonnenburg Gardens in Canandaigua? Beautiful gardens- amazing mansion.
 
I haven't been that far upstate NY in a long time, but it is beautiful/ Elisa you are going to get gorgeous photos!

I know...I love all the parks up there. Besides friends at school, that is one of the bigger things I miss about that part of NY.

Laurie, I've never been to Canandaigua.. actually there are a few places that I'd love to get to that I've never been that are sort of close to Rochester. I never really strayed more than an hour or so away since no one else wanted to take the drives with me, hehe! I'd love to go to the Adirondacks too someday.

Letchworth is beautiful, and I actually didn't get to go though until last May when I visited. And when we went to see my sister last fall we went to Taughannock Falls in Ithaca and that was beautiful too! :biggrin:
