TGIFTGIF!!!!!
oh my goodness, I had another insano-day.
I was halfway down to my MIL's when it started to rain. I kept on going, figuring I could just do her yard work inthe rain. No sooner do I get to her house and pour a cup of coffee, when Gary calls. He had just gotten off the phone with... drum roll....
You guessed it... Scott's school. More troubles. Even though it was drizzling, I had a fun time outside digging up the crabgrass with the rake. I was slamming the ground getting all of my anger out. "I'm gonna kill this kid" yank goes another clump of crabgrass. "I am going to wring his neck" more dead crabgrass. "What was he *thinking*??" Some rocks and dirt went flying....
You should try it, it is very effective.
I left my MIL's early so I could get home, talk to Gary and be a united front when he got home from school. Thank goodness Ihave such an understanding "boss."
The school had worked out most of their issues at school and we were able to get some accomplished here. We need to have a mtg sometime next week with Guidance/Dean of Students and some of his teachers to ... I don't even know... get on the same page? Discuss his attitude? Find another way to get him to remember to get his darn agenda signed?
Last week I called a counseling center to set up sessions with a cognitive therapist. I had the "intake" info on him done and it takes a few weeks to get a therapist assigned to his case and then we will be able to get some sessions set up. We are hoping that he will be able to learn some techniques to help him deal with his anger and to help his behavior. Something has to give and it cannot be me.
And....to top off yet another lovely day in paradise... I got called for Jury duty-- three days at the end of October-- UGH!!!
I can't imagine that I will get excused on an "insanity hardship." LOL
Today I have a bunch of housecleaning and errands....my stomach has been very nauseous since after dinner last night, I hope it goes away soon!
Gotta get going, but will be back for personals.
Thanks for letting me vent yet again about Scott!
