Can that be right? Almost halfway through September? Slow down the world someone!

Good morning Ladies! Does anyone have big weekend plans? Not too much here. We went to my nephew's football game last night. They stink...but I love high school football and the weather was beautiful so I can't complain. My youngest niece (6 yo) came home with us and spent the night for a cousin sleepover. Sydney has a makeup gymnastics session from Labor Day. And that's it...the rest is peaceful I think.

I'll be back for personals later. Everyone have a wonderful, restful Saturday.
 
Hi Girlies!!!!!!!!

What a fabulous day here!! It is going to be one of those "in-between" days!!! In between Summer and Fall.....the weather is PERFECT!!! I will definately being OUTSIDE today!!! well...we are going to the Old Salem Days...so definately outside...LOL!!

I have a couple of things to do around here....then off with DD...

Cameran is coming this evening and we are going to do something with him tomorrow....I am jonesing....he has not been here in well over a week!!!! I don't go this long without him....I kept him and Savannah for a couple of hours Tuesday...but when he got off the bus...he went over to play with his friends....so I didn't really see him!!! Being his "other" parent for so long....even after 2 and half years....I have a hard time with him not living in my house!!! You guys would NOT have wanted to know me when they first moved out of here!!!! UPSIDE!!! Digi Scrapping is what came out of it!!! I finally had to find something for me to "entertain" myself with.....

Ok...Personals...where I left off yesterday:

Clara.....Hey...I am happy you are in a better mood!! But man...sorry about your mom!! I completely understand...we have family members like this!! Your poor DAD...he needs to grieve...I hope she lets up on him and gives him his time!!! (((HUGS)))

LindaS....Hey...football sounds fun...but only in your beautiful weather....I don't do the COLD weather games!!! We are HUGE Packer fans...DH wants to go to Lambeau Field to see a cold weather game....HE WILL GO BY HIMSELF!!! Of course now that Brette is a Viking..it may be Minnesota instead....HEHEHEHEHE!! (I hate that situation...he looks best in green!!) anyway...he and DD went a few years ago to the FIRST game of the season....it was not cold.
YAY for sleepovers!!! hope the kids had fun!!!

Well...I am off...I need to get busy...suppose to leave here in about an hour and a half!!

Clara, glad DH made it home from fishing! And glad that you are feeling better. Iowa has trees that turn pretty colors but it's not like some of the places north of us. When we were coming home from MN last weekend, some of the trees were already turning.

Sandra, hope that life gets better soon. Thanks for popping in to let us know how you're doing.

Linda W., I'm glad that you get some Cameran time tonight. That will put a smile on your face I know. And we used to live in KC and had season tickets to the Chiefs for about 8 years. It was when they were good! And we watched some games in AWFUL weather. I didn't mind...I love football.
 
hi girls I have been so busy the past few days. I think I may disappear at the end of every week. But I do like the O so expect me back.

LSlycord- thanks for reminding me about high school football I have been meaning to take the kids and I think they may be old enough for something like that. Mr. Potts and I are not crowd people with our three little ones but they are getting bigger.

LindaW: We are having a rainy day. i love rain! today i am going to my movie class and we are gonna watch "no country for old men" on the big screen. i kinda dont like watching movies but when i am forced i usually enjoy them.

I am feeling kinda bad today cause my little sis wants me to babysit her 1 year old and three year old from 9-5 and she doesnt get that that is a long time when your watching 5 kids under 5 especially since I am gonna be gone half that time so Mr Potts has to do it. My sis has a long history of leaving her kids here for 8 hours and hardly babysits mine in return. And if she does its only for like 4 hours or if they are asleep. Mr. Potts is a nice guy but he is getting tired of it. Last time she left them at 2 and told me she was just gonna go to the mall for a couple of hours and then about 6 I call and she says she just got dressed and is going to the movies. Then it was a bar at 10 and then she arrived at about 1. So yeah annoying.

clara I am sorry to hear your dad is having a rough time and ur mom is not handloing it well. i bet she feels like she knows him so well she can just say that stuff. i am glad u are feeling better too and I understand about dh. sometimes I just want mine to leave so I can have the house to myself. tonight he is going to a friends house. now that i think about it i am gonna miss him.

Ooh The cold weather games are my favorite!! Of course our cold weather games are probably different than yours... I'm talking 50s-60s :) I agree with ya on brett! I loved him as a packer, and he just isn't the same as a viking. My oma and aunt and uncle have season tickets to the texans, and my brother and I switch off going to the games. I got to go to the preseason vikings game... it was so weird seeing him in purple... just not right!
 
Crap!! I just lost my whole post!!!! Ugh!! Well, I have a naked little girl running around now so I can't rewrite it. No big plans for today. DH is working and it sounds like it will be a long day. We might drive up to Tacoma and have a picnic in the park across the street if he is able to schedule his patients with a lunch in there somewhere. Otherwise we will possibly go to his work department picnic (for the army, not for his other job where he is at today). It is actually his old department in Nuc Med but he was still invited and i'd like to see some of the people and it is at a park on the lake so it would be fun. BUT my military ID might be expired so I might not be able to g et on post if I am driving. we'll see. I can get on post if I am not driving with my driver's license, so we'll see what happens.

Okay...i did write you all personals and lost them and I'm not feeling writing them again right now but I'll try and come back later. I hope you all have a great weekend.
 
A real quicky 14 hrs of driving today from Ky to Orlando has made Dawn a sleepy bunny-lover LOL. I just had to hop on in and wish my O-fam a happy Saturday :). Love and hugs to you all!

Tomorrow is going to be a day of shopping and a concert for me and DD Amanda, today was just driving, eating, talking, and silly singing in the car LOL. Now I am missing my sweet Davy :( and my other furbabies...and of course DH LOL.

I'll catch up with you all tomorrow if I get a chance in between retail therapies hehehehe. nightie night!
 
Dawn - what are you going to do with pics not of fur babies?? JK. I've seen lots of LOs of your kiddos but LOTS of the fur babies. LOL!! I hope you are having a fantastic time on your trip with amanda. Sounds like a blast. I hope the timing is perfect so that it is warm, not rainy and all the kids are in school so that nothing is crowded. Hope you are having a blast!! Can;t wait to see some [pics.

I am so sorry for being a blah person and then I went kinda MIA.
I had a couple of rough days in my head. Butt I am pulling myself back together. Some days I just need a bit more spit and bubble gum than others. :p

Today we slept in til 9- it felt sooo good. But we need to leave her around 12. The nursing home where Gary's G-ma is at has a really nice G-Parents Day party every year. We always have a nice time and G-Ma loves seeing us,, even if she doesn't quite know who we are. She has Alz. and knows we are family. But she is awesome- lives very much "in the moment" and its good for everyone to hang out.

Better run, have to get us all in the showers....

A quickie for me. I have been writing my first paper all weekend long, and I just turned it in. Ugh, my stomach hurts! But it's done now, no going back!

Yesterday we went to Chuck E Cheese for a friend's daughter's birthday, and that was not conducive to paper-writing. When we got home my brain was toast! Actually, margarine on toast! Next week I am not going to wait until the day before the paper is due to start writing it.

Okay, time to eat something.
 
andrea, i use to tutor in the writing center at my college if u ever need a paper looked let me know. i am not sure what level u are working at but i can try and help out. we can even hop on IM and go through it together.

Cora....it's not right him being in purple...but....if you are a true fan...you have to stay supportive...We were packer fans before we were Farve fans, but we will follow both!!! and I could handle the 50-60's weather just fine...it's that Green Bay 0-15 degree weather I couldn't handle...we live in Virginia...we do have some weather like that...but it's usually very short time. YAY for you going to the games!!! I bet that is a blast!!!

YEP...Cameran came over and made us very happy!!! Although, he latched on to his Pawpaw this time and won't get out of his sight!!! and I love football too...IN HD!!! LOL!!!

Lori...that's a bad situation!!! you need to do her like I did my youngest DD...she would bring the kids and never be on time to pick them up...2 or 3 hours late...so I told her no several times and told her why, because she never gets them when she says, and it makes me late for things I need to do....so now she is ALWAYS on time...she about kills herself to get here on time!!

hmmmm stomach hurting....writing papers...sounds about right for school!!! I hated school!!! sorry to all you teachers....but it was rough for me....we moved so much when I was growing up....and I went to college after my children were born...so that wasn't the best experience either!!! I LOVE CHUCK E CHEESE!!!!! Hope you ate something good...like cake!! heheheheehe!!!

Yesterday was fun...but tiring....it was elbow to elbow...hard to look at anything...but it was festive...and the weather was so totally AWESOME!!!

Sounds like the rivers this time of year. Everyone is shoulder to shoulder trying to catch the salmon, but it is awesome fishing this year. We have a freezer full of fish for the first time in a long time.
