It is a wonderful day! Monday!! Fresh start to the week!
And I know my friend Sally is a Happy Momma today- I saw on FB that Quentin ROCKED at his meet!
Not only that, but it also Danielle's DSL!
I'm in the spotlight this...

So we have lots to be happy about!

Did everyone have a nice weekend?
Mine was a nice combo of busy and not so busy. That is good b/c is keeps us from getting bored and each others' throats. it was too bad the weather wasn't better- it was cold and rainy and windy- even yesterday the sun was out but it was freezing!

Today Gary and I have have our Lyme dr appt. I guess I will find out what, if anything is up with the PICC line. I am wondering if it is even going to be worth the hassle.

Thanks for all of the congrats to Caitlyn. She finished up all of her orders and is ready to deliver them today. So cute!

Merkee- how is your back feeling? Hope it is better. Bad backs are just awful. it doesn't take much to really knock it out of wack.

LindaS! We miss ya- so I am glad you had time to pop in here. How did swimming lessons go?

Ugh, Kat, that is so sad when your kids are sick like that. And always inthe middle of the night.... hope you got rest.

Good morning O's! We woke up to a nice 5" of snow and ice...April???? Kalin proclaimed that it was Christmas again :). We had a very productive weekend! Gunar moved my computer out of the office and rerouted the cable for internet last night so I am sitting in front of my big window watching the snow fall as I type. He also put the swing together and left it right next to the computer saying "I guessed that the swing will spend most of its time here" :), he knows me well.

We are just going to hang out at home today because I really don't feel like trekking out in the weather. I work tonight and its begins the countdown to my last day!!!

hey girlies!!! I'm up toooooooo early!!! Mr Gorgeous left for the airport at 5:30am and I tossed and turned for another hour then decided I couldn't stand it anymore! So I'm upright!! *not out of bed, mind you! !!

Jos, I can sooo believe it's snowing there, cause it's really cold here!! what's that all about???? I'm ready for some tank top weather! BIG TIME!!!! And how cute is Gunar, setting up the swing next to your puter!! Love those daddies!! Can't wait for your little mister to be born into this wild, wooly world!!!

Chris, GORGEOUS basket!!! LOVE it...and I'm sure Clara will, too!! (whispering, so as not to wake up clara on the west coast!! heehee) Praying you have a MOST fruitful visit to the dr!! and Yes!! I am MIGHTY proud of my sweetie pie!! he had such a solid meet. :)

LINDA!! Congrats on the standouts!!! love that blog! (jos, here's the LINK: GALLERY STANDOUTS) and I LOVE that page, darling!! perfect pic of your darling!!! I did a scrapbooker's booboo this weekend and left my million gig compact flash card at home in my card reader. I just happened to have a little 128mb XD card in my camera bag and so we got around 70 pics at Q's meet. But I do have the entire thing video taped (and i WON't tape over it this time!! !!) so I'm hoping to upload to my blog or you tube or something! I'll d/l pics and the video later this afternoon when I'm supposed to be doing dishes or something!! !!

Sooooooo wow!! did you guys see that GALLERY after AMANDA's spotlight??? it is beautiful! Not like it isn't beautiful anyway, but wow!!! And with Danielle's spotlight starting this week...ohhhh the O GALLERY is a very very beautiful place!! This momma needs some time to spend there to soak up inspiration!! that's for sure!!

Loving that I have a fresh day today to get my life together! Hope you have a wonderful day starting fresh, too!!

good morning... I know I haven't been in the Ooo's much lately... I'm just having a really rough time right now... I did manage to do 3 layouts for Amanda's spotlight - the journaling in Part II was REALLY hard for me... and I'm going to try to do Danielle's spotlight this week... I think planning to go home this weekend is just got me all out of sorts... it will be the first time I've been home since Daddy died, and it's just hard to think of going back and him not being there...

Saturday we went to Hobby Lobby... Gabe got me an original cricut machine (its not delivered yet) and we went to look at stuff up there for it... then yesterday it was 70-ish degrees so we worked out in the backyard for a while, and I got the front mowed... Gabe got our fence put up for our flower garden... I got the yard evened out for the pavers for the grill and put those down and moved the grill off the porch YAY... and then hopefully this is the last of our bad weather... I want to be able to put up my deck umbrella and chairs so that we're ready for mine and Matthew's birthday shindig on the 25th of April... I'm hoping that our rain/snow showers today and flurries tomorrow is winter's last gasp... I need to patch my yard where Bailey and Darwin have dug holes and put down some grass seed... *sigh* so much to do...

Oh ughhh..another day of meetings...but I'll be on tonight to catch up!! This weekend was NUTS!! We had a surprise b-day party for one my close neighbors so it was party party party!! tons of fun for the adults and the kids! Add to that I actually EMPTIED our Attic/storage space from H***!! And got it alllll reorganized and separated for a YARD SALE!!! Just for the record doing that after staying up to ungodly hours the night before made for a REALLY long day! And now meetings...I'm gonna be draggin tonight! But I get to scrap!! :) So it will be all good...I'll be back for personals later girls! Take care.

Good morning ladies!!

A semi-short one for me today I have a lot of research to do today. Mario's Mom & Dad are going through a crazy custody battle over their youngest son right now and it's getting really bad. So, of course, I got caught in the middle as well as Mario & his sister so we are doing all we can to make this situation less stressful.

On the good news side of things, City of Reno responded to my job application and wants me to come in for testing on April 17th.

I miss you all!! I hate not having a secure internet connection but I'll get one soon!!

Chris - The basket is GORGEOUS!!!!! I am so excited and a bit jealous of my SIL right now. Thank you so much. I really appreciate all the work you put into it. I LOVE IT!!!!!
 
Good morning...well I guess it is afternoon. Since the boys are in AK I changed Addie's daycare situation for the week and took her to a lady I know from when we had a nanny. It threw my whole morning off but worked out well. I will just have to replan my mornings. I really like the lady that is watching her though. There was no way I was going to take her to her regular daycare everyday. It would take me an extra hour everyday to drop her off then again to pick her up. No reason for all that. She was sweet last night though...she came into my room in the middle of the night and snuggled which is not normal for her. With E it is a normal occurance but she gets locked in her room and she sleeps through the night generally so it is nice to snuggle once in awhile.

Tonight I am going to a friend's house for dinner. her dh is a restairant manager and works late and her ds is in Poland with his HS band so she's home all alone tonight. So, I'm dropping a frozen dinner off to her at the church (where she works) at lunch and then she'll cook it and we'll eat later. It will be nice. Tomorrow I am going to have a friend of mine come over and teach me how to put up some shelves. DH and I do not get along doing stuff like this (I watched a Home Improvement about this last night, LOL) so it will be cool to get some stuff like that done since it has been on DH's Honey-Do list for a long time. He is the very worst about Honey-Do lists and it makes me crazy. I am going to Home Depot today to get the stuff I need to get it done. I always seem to get more done when DH is gone. Go figure. He left the house absolutely trashed after getting everything packed for his trip to AK. Not just messy but trashed. I was not a happy camper yesterday as I was cleaning up. He didn't start packing until late the night before but didn't even do his daily stuff he is supposed to do. Grrrrr!!!

I got all my Easter shopping done yesterday. I am pretty stoked about it. I HATE Easter baskets. You spend money on this stupid basket that the kids think they have to keep and it ends up creating a mess and that's not to mention grass and all that. So, I was walking through Walmart yesterday looking at stupid baskets and I looked up and saw towel backpacks. It is essentially a beach towel that folds up and becomes a backpack. I thought it was absolutely perfect so that is what the kids are getting as their baskets this year. Then I got Ethan some tickets to see the "Walking with Dinosaurs" thing and I found some large eggs to put the tickets in. It should be fun...and of course Raymon Rabbids.

Oh! Oh! Oh!! I was listening to the Christian Radio station this morning and for those of you that celebrate Easter and discuss the religious aspect of this holiday with your kids I heard about these cookies called Resurrection Cookies. Maybe I'll scrap a page to make sure I remember. It is such a neat way to teach your kids about the resurrection. Check it out.

Speaking of Church-type stuff...I was at my church last night for a small group link (a time to find yourself a small group). I was there supporting my group that I already belong to. They have a drawing and amazingly I won a $50 GC to Home Depot...very excited about that since I almost never win these things. As I was walking out the door with a friend of mine we were talking with the Associate Pastor about our church. It is currently under construction and they now have all the drywall up. I was talking about how cool it was and he offered to give 3 of us a little tour. It was sooooooooooooo cool. I am absolutely amazed at what has been built. I am so excited for it to be finished in June.

OKay...I am done with all of rambling and on to personals -

Chris - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the PICC line. I know it would help you guys out so much and it really sucks that the state and all those other places are so stupid about treatment.

Linda - Congrats on the Stand Out. I'll have to check that out. I'm guessing it is an awesome layout.

Joslyn - Snow?? I am so sorry. We had a gorgeous spring morning and I knew that some of you were having yucky spring days today. I hope the snow melts quickly and the sun shines warmly.

Sally - Thank you so much for whispering. You woke me up just enough to see that Addie was one wiggle away from falling off the bed but I was able to fall right back to sleep. Yay for Quentin!! Can't wait to see the pics of that.

Sandra - I understand about going home. I felt the same way going to Portland after my Grandma died. It is very hard. Big hugs to you. Yay for the Cricut and sunny weather.

Kristen - I am so jealous of your organization. It would be a glorious day if we had out garage cleaned out.

Kaleigh - Big Hugs. That really sucks that you have gotten stuck in the middle of a custody battle. I hope everything gets figured out without the family being torn apart.

Hi girls! Me Me Monday (well it's Tuesday here, so I'll tell you what I did yesterday)- I'd love to give myself a pedicure...but my arms won't reach over the belly! So I went and had my hair done instead. Lovely!

It's crazy to hear about all the snow- I'm guessing by the reactions that it's pretty unseasonal? We have just finished daylight savings here, so just getting used to the boy waking up at 5am now instead of 6am. Tops.

Clara- thanks for the reminder to do some Easter shopping. I'll have to grab some chocolate while I'm out today, although it's not really a big deal here with baskets and all that. And can someone explain what the Easter outfits are about? I see in layouts that people buy a new outfit for their kids? And I so love that your Me Me Monday is going to Home Depo- go girl!

Linda- congrats on the gallery standouts! I loved seeing your comments during Amanda's challenge- thanks for being so welcoming!

Good evening O-Family!! Everything is going pretty good here. I had a little scare with a sore boob but had a diagnostic mammogram and they said I'm all clear except my old, dried up milk ducts are just that LOL old and dried up which could be causing the pain so gotta do some warm, moist compresses and an antibiotic.

Davy is doing good. He is HYPER LOL, wonder if they rx meds for rabbits for that? :rolleyes: j/k I love that he's hyper! He seems to have gotten over his upper resp infection but has some allergies, his left eye is watery. I had tried a different hay and this happened right after that so I changed right back and he's getting over that. Rabbits are very fragile! He's growing like a weed :). He can jump from the floor to my bed now, he gets up there and just bounces back and forth like he's on a trampoline. He and Sassy, my cat, chase each other a little, Sassy is still a little leery of him but getting better.

Sascedar-sorry, if you told your name I have a little shortterm memory problem, LOL! Glad you got a little pampering, I love to get my hair done, it's soooo relaxing :).

Clara-Woohoo! Congrats on the $50 to Home Depot, that's one of my fave stores :).

Kayleigh-I'm praying for you about the job and custody situation. Hope everything works out for you and your family. Can't wait to get you back on here with us more, too :).
