Tether-Me by Josie Scraps

This one went straight to my core because if you put blonde hair on that person it is me this past week and it will be for a bit. I was blindsided by some news that altered my life in an instant, and it was a lie. I have been spinning out of control and this is as if Josie did a portrait of me. The random spots of paint are about how connected my thoughts and concentration have been, It chilled me to the bone, not because it’s scary, but because it is me.

This artist did a great job with photo extraction outside of the frame. It really adds interest in the layout. I love how the photo is faded into background paper. The journaling tells the story of the photos well.

I love how the photos are used as the background paper embellishment by fading most of the photo, focusing on the subject’s face. The journaling is fantastic!

I love the colors in this page! The purple and gold are very majestic and royal! The title caught my eye. I recognized it as a quote from the Bible…Isaiah 66:1. In reference to God so the colors are perfect to represent his majesty! Beautiful page!
