We are diving deeper into this topic and I am loving what I am seeing so far! You gals are so creative!!

Our sweet friend Cheryl is on a break this month for some fun family occasions, so I took over for her challenge this month! This month’s theme of purpose is such a multi-faceted topic. There are so many ways we can go with it.

A dictionary definition is:
pur·pose/ˈpərpəs/ noun: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

The deeper meaning of purpose extends beyond simple goals and motivations. It encompasses a stable, generalized intention to accomplish something that is both meaningful to the individual and consequential for the world beyond themselves. It’s about finding a sense of direction, creating meaning in life, and contributing to something larger than oneself.

Beyond goals: 
Purpose isn’t just about achieving specific objectives; it’s about the overarching reasons behind those objectives. 



Personal meaning: 
It’s about finding activities, values, and aspirations that resonate deeply with your own sense of self and identity.



Impact on the world: 
Purpose often involves a desire to make a positive contribution, to leave a mark, or to serve something greater than oneself. 



A sense of direction: 
It can guide life decisions, influence behavior, and provide a sense of meaning and direction.



A journey, not a destination: 
Purpose isn’t a fixed point to arrive at, but rather a continuous process of exploration, reflection, and action.

Connection to well-being: 
Research suggests that a strong sense of purpose is linked to increased happiness, resilience, and overall well-being
