Art Journaling in the New Year
I hope the new year is treating everyone well! It seems like every year goes faster and faster!
This year we have decided to focus on a word a month for our art journaling challenges. This month of January was “Reflect”, and each of us explored a different aspect of the word. Here are some layouts that were made from this “reflection”. All the pages are linked to their place in the gallery. Click and let them know you enjoy their pages!
Sylvia added this wonderful collage Travel Journal page:
I really like how she did her photo half black and white and half color, and made those ripped edges. The piles of newsprint and old book pages are wonderful – and the sketching and text make it seem like it’s a real product! Great job, Sylvia!
Ona decided to make all 4 in one page – and I feel bad because due to sickness and circumstance we didn’t get the 4th week up, so she has a blank quadrant. It still looks amazing!
The middle cluster is so beautiful, and I love the way she kept the color scheme through out each quadrant.
This page is about a month old, but I wanted to share with you this gem that i found while surfing the Art Journaling gallery at oScraps. Diane is exceptional at doing art journaling!! This one looks like an ATC card – I’d love to see an entire series with these!
Come join us mid week when we start February’s word!!
Thank you for the shout-out Susie ♥, I had to finish off that layout though, it was bugging me! lol! 🙂
