I just returned from a trip to Las Vegas. I honestly had some of the best music-Josh Groban and all the local bands in the streets, and food around. (Especially at Gordon Ramsey’s Hells Kitchen)

A recent email from Vicki Robinson’s caught my eye -“flour, sugar eggs…and stitches” She talks about the basics you have in your kitchen and the ones you have in your digital artsy stash-the ones that go on every page!

What goes on most layouts you create? My layouts usually have strings, stitches, fasteners and paint/transfers. What better way to try out our of an Artsy/Mixed Media Challenge!

So I checked out the Artsy/Mixed Media Challenge. Ona (wombat146) has a great challenge of re-creating a background with layers, blending and other creative tools. Her tutorial is great! Here are layouts from this great challenge.
