Art Journaling ~ Resolve to Be an Artist!

This topic has been a challenge for me. I am one of those people who start things like gang busters, but often lose motivation and drive to get things done. This month, I tried really hard to think of something that I had deep resolve about, and make it be my {RESOLVE} theme for the entire month.
This is Vicky’s first challenge with us on the team and she’s already kicking it!!
“Welcome to Week 3 of the April 2025 Art Journaling Challenge! My name is Vicky and I will be your host for this week!
When we resolve to do something in our lives, that determination affects our actions and our motives in our daily lives. Think about some of the things, in the past or in the future or in the here and now, that you have resolved to do…..whether it was a failure or a great success. Were/are there things that could/have be/been done differently that would have/could result in a greater success? Hind sight is always better than foresight, but we need those hind sights to help us succeed in our future endeavors.
Here are some quotes that may help you in thinking about the direction you want to take for your art journal page this week. Don’t stress about it, like I usually do! Just have fun with it! Maybe you will learn some things along the way! That’s what we are here for! Life is all about learning!

You know, real life doesn’t just suddenly resolve itself. You have to keep working at it. Democracy, marriage, friendship. You can’t just say, ‘She’s my best friend.’ That’s not a given, it’s a process. Viggo Mortensen
I believe that my worth is not measured by what I do, by the honors that are bestowed upon me, or by material wealth that I might obtain. Instead, I am measured by the courage I show while standing for my beliefs, by the dedication I exhibit to ensure my word is good, and the resolve I undertake to establish my actions and deeds as honorable. Burgess Owens
The Bible clearly says that when we have a problem with our brother, we are to go to them and try to resolve the situation. Dave Ramsey
Before and after each kicking attempt, I simply thank God for the opportunity he has given me. I ask that my hard work comes to fruition; I ask for resolve and, most importantly, that his name be glorified. Justin Tucker
