The weeks are just flying by!! I can’t believe that it’s April already and we’re seeing the new buds and flowers sprouting up. Our gallery, at Oscraps, is so full of beautiful layouts and I’m excited to show you the CheeryO Favorites for this week.

I was immediately drawn to this LO by the half face photo. This is a really effective technique and I love it. But as I read the journaling, I realized this much more. It is a symbol for Marilyn of her life after October 2023 and the woman she is coming to be. This LO is emotionally powerful and a study in courage and grace in desolation. While my heart aches for her, it also rejoices that she is finding strength and seeking the sun.

This artistic layout totally captures the junk journal aesthetic, which I love! The mix of torn paper scraps, edges, strings, and script is so well done. And the beautiful butterflies, flowers, and word art tie everything together perfectly. It’s truly a work of art!

Layout # 3

Sacred Earth by Agata
Agata created a stunning layout, so soft and delicate and the color scheme matches perfectly the theme. And the message of this layout appeals to me. Nature and our planet are at the heart of all life. And we are a part of it.

This artist did a great job with the photo effects. The whole photo is used, but different parts are highlighted differently using frames and blending and texture. This is very creative. The artist also did a great job with journaling.

Layout #5

The striking photo is what caught my eye, with the dramatic clouds and beautiful sunset. The artist did a great job with blending the photo around the accents of the photo. The simple title is the only additional embellishment needed for this stunning layout.

What wonderful and diverse pages were picked this week!! As always, if you see your page here, you are entered for a drawing for a gift certificate to the OStore!!! Good luck, and congratulations to you all!!

We’ll see you back here next Friday.
